You know that feeling you get when everything comes together? When you’re in the groove and things just click? Dr. Ben Kadel, an entrepreneur and real-world sociologist, calls this feeling “the sweet spot” and his inspiring, and powerful, eBook is dedicated to the insights and tools we need to increase that feeling and to keep that feeling around.
Being creative can be a lot of fun, but it’s also a lot of work – and when waste energy on fear, doubt, conflict, and confusion we are a liability to our own creative endevour. Ben wants to change the way we feel about work. The goal with this ebook is to help you enjoy the sweet life of doing meaningful work.

Finding Your Sweet Spot by Ben Kadel is available for just $5USD.

Recent research on productivity demonstrates again and again that fun, laughter, playfulness, and friendliness all equate with higher productivity, better problem-solving, and more effective solutions. One of the most productive sectors of the economy (and fastest growing) is made up of people who would have a hard time giving you a two-word job title and who are their own bosses (and who unfortunately, are still trying to figure out the pension plan thing).
And happiness, it turns out, is more likely to come from working at a meaningful job than sitting around a pool. But most of us are still stuck in the old model—we think work is supposed to suck.
Now, don’t get me wrong. There is a difference between the kind of focused fun that equates with effective work and the sort of whitewashed happiness that most advertisers convince us we could have if only we buy their product. In fact, even among happiness researchers, there is a minor industry in trying to effectively define happiness—the right kind of happiness. Luckily, like pornography, we probably don’t need a definition because most of us know it when we see it. Or rather, we know it when we feel it.

I really enjoyed the concepts illustrated in this ebook. The notion of energy, the seven rules, the balance theory, the drifting effect, the “stuck” phases and much more. Some concepts could look familiar, as if we already knew them, but sometimes we only know the surface of a much more complex matter. Reading about what hides behind apparently simple things is very interesting. This ebook allows understanding some of our behavioral patterns and explain them. I suggest reading this ebook. The concepts explained in these pages are related not only to our specific jobs but to our lives overall. A good reading, definitely.
Angelo – thanks for the positive feedback. I’m glad to hear the concepts are useful to you. It’s what I was going for, but you never know how it will work until you put it out there.

I enjoyed this quick, easy, and informative E Book. As a hobby artist I am familiar with that “sweet spot,” but, had never considered using it before reading this book. I eagerly look forward to practicing applying the concepts to more areas of life.
